"I recently came in prepared to make an offer on a used TM Custom Gunnison that I had been looking at for a while. Unfortunately, the bike had just been sold. Of course, I was a bit disappointed.
I was kicking around the showroom when I ran into Doug. Doug didn't try to sell me anything. He asked me what I rode now and what models I liked. He showed me any bike I asked about but never tried to sell me on anything.
When Doug realized I might be interested, he showed me a beautiful used Heritage Classic your shop had just brought in on trade. It was a super clean, low-mileage, nicely equipped bike that had obviously been well taken care of. Doug knew the previous owner, who had bought the bike from Thunder Mountain originally.
I have always loved the Heritage, and once I saw this bike, I couldn't get it out of my mind. Three days later I made a cash offer and within 30 minutes, the paperwork was done.
What is most impressive is that Doug never tried to sell me a bike. He helped me buy a bike. He got to know me, and helped me get to know the bikes that were for sale, and let me make a decision for myself with absolutely no pressure. When it came time to make a deal, there were no games, no hassles, no tricks. Doug was the best salesman I have ever worked with. Car dealers could learn a lot from how your staff does business. You guys are professional, ethical, and pleasant - the way it should be.
I have already recommended Doug to numerous friends, and will continue to recommend both Doug and Thunder Mountain."

"We were in Loveland/Estes Park for our 25th anniversary & stopped in to buy our daughter a tee shirt. I described to Tim & Ted my plans to buy a new 1200 Roadster next spring and add the accessories I wanted. "FIRST OFF, TM IS TOP SHELF AND NOTHING LESS! We purchased a 2006 Electra Glide and Richard was our salesperson. Not only was he a riot (funny guy!) and very entertaining, he was also knowledgable and HONEST. He's the kind of salesman others wish they could be. There's no run-around, its all out in the open and he makes it EASY. He recognizes if you are having a problem making the right decision and he won't proceed until you are ready (and he can tell that, believe me!) I lost a good friend who was beating cancer and then died after a wreck on his harley and I was having a hard time making the decision to get back on two wheels after being away from it for a few years, and we were about to sign the papers when he saw I was having diffuculty with it. He closed his book and said "you're not ready" and there was no pressure at all. Well we did come back several days later to do the deal, and it couldn't have gone better. Justin was awesome with the paperwork too, and made sure we were comfortable with everything just like
Richard did. The whole store is filled with happy friendly employees, and we are glad to be a continuing part of the TM family. We've always had a friend in Tim at he parts counter, and we've added Richard and Justin to our (gotta say hello) to list of people too! If you want to be treated right, its THUNDER MOUNTAIN HD!"

"I was touring from the Dallas area to Billings, MT., the ride was awesome. On the return portion of my trip my brake lights wouldn't turn off just north of Casper, WY. So, in turn, the cruise control wouldn't work. I stopped in the local Harley shop in Casper and was told that the part needed wasn't in stock and sent me on my way. Safety apparently was not an issue with the mechanic. The next morning I rode on to your shop. As soon as I arrived,your shop put my bike directly on a lift. For about an hour I got to visit with your staff in the showroom. I was back out on the hiway with functional brake lights and cruise control. Thank you for your regard for my safety and quick turn around. Thunder Mountain Harley is THE essence of what Harley-Davidson aspires to be."

"My early experiences with my first Harley started off very disappointing. Repeated tire issues, sloppy, incomplete work on the first service, and an overall disconcerning feeling about HD in general.
Since then, my wife and I have logged over 5000 miles this summer including a trip to Wisconsin and Yellowstone on seperate occasions. Needless to say, we have had our bike in for various services, and it has been flawless. Not only that, Lisa and Jerry have gone out of their way to ensure our satisfaction and it is very much appreciated.
We have been to many functions and have met some great people. We intend to join the local HOG chapter and our enthusiasm for the future in riding couldn't be higher.
Thank you for restoring my faith in Harley Davidson and rekindling our enthusiasm for continued enjoyment in riding and the relationships that come along the way.

"We purchased a Softail Standard (used) from Thunder Mountain Harley last year. We had been looking for a very long time (years) to be honest. Had been talking to one of your sales people and had a budget to work with. Nothing fell in our fiscal budget to ride. However one of your sales people remembered a bike that came from out of state, had a lot of custom features on it and needed some TLC ( and couldn't we all) didn't even ride it and said " I'll take it" my wife about fainted. When she came to her senses and her finger prints were off my neck we purchased the bike. Had I known about optional financing that process would have went a lot smoother. Talked to my credit union and all went well. Now I'm not afraid of the fingers and the hugs are great. Who would of thought a three way would be so much fun. Me, My wife, and the bike.
